On November 21st, I woke up to bleeding internally from esophagus varices. I went to the E.R. and spent 6 days in the hospital. They put 5 bands on during my first operation. This was the beginning of not being able to work. On the 19th of January, I went in for another scoping, and they put 7 more bands on. On January 21st, they failed and broke. Back to the E.R. I went. This time, I spent 3 days in the I.C.U. and 3 days in the regular side. I was told at this point I can't return to work until the beginning of April. I have another scoping on the 10th or in a week. Fortunately, I have insurance to cover medical bills, but I have other bills I need to pay as well. I'm months behind on everything sadly.
