Help Cory and Iris be together!

We (a group of friends or more like family) are setting up this fund on behalf of our friend Cory and his daughter Iris.  Cory is father who is desperately seeking shared custody of his daughter.  The opportunity to bond and share experiences, teach and learn and above all enjoy the benefits of parenting that so many of us take for granted. 

Some history...
Iris's dad is a retired military member and a retired corrections officer. This genuinely wonderful person is a blessing to everyone he meets and Iris is so lucky to call this man her father.  This is a dad who wants to be a parent, who wants to be involved and who would go to the end of the earth just to be present.  A person who only has eyes for his little girl.  He pays his child support and has done everything by the book.  Despite his efforts he has been denied reasonable access to his daughter.

For the past year Cory has been battling with lawyers for access to his daughter.  As of today, he has been granted parenting for 4 hours twice a week.  This is a far cry from the shared custody (50/50) that he has been working so hard to try and secure.

The judge has also ordered a parenting assessment which costs roughly twenty thousand dollars.   Cory has devoted everything he has to this fight and he is running out of resources.    I'm begging everyone.  Please help Cory continue this legal battle so they can be together!
