We are thrilled to announce that Chelsea has been selected for an incredible opportunity through United States Youth Futsal (USYF) to represent her country! After excelling at the State ID Camp in Owensboro KY, and the National ID Camp in Kansas City KS, she was selected and invited to compete against other International teams in Costa Rica. What an opportunity, and unbelievable feeling it would be to represent USA in a growing thats making its way into the Dayton, OH area. Futsal is already well known, and played at a high level in cities like Cincinnati and Columbus, OH. Having been selected from the city of Dayton is a testament to her hard work, dedication, and exceptional talent in the sport.

What is Futsal you ask?

Futsal is a variant of soccer played on a smaller, hard court, usually indoors. It features five players per team, including the goalkeeper, and emphasizes quick passing and close control. The sport originated in South America in the 1930s and has since gained popularity worldwide. Futsal is known for its fast pace, skillful maneuvers, and emphasis on teamwork and technique. It's played with a smaller, heavier ball than traditional soccer, which encourages more ball control and precise passing in tight spaces.
