Help Charlie's Leg Surgery and Recovery

TLDR: Asking for help for vet bills for Charlie. He is badly injured and needs exploratory surgery.

The Full Story:

This morning started out like any other normal morning. I let the dogs out to potty before work.

I live in a small house on a big farm property, and Clover and Charlie love running around and chasing each other all over the yard.

They were in the middle of their normal chasing games when I heard a loud *CRACK* and one of the dogs started crying loudly.

My heart jumped into my chest and I bolted around the other side of the house to see what happened.

They're always running around with sticks, so my initial thought was one of them broke one of the sticks and maybe it punctured one of the dogs.

When I finally caught up with them, Charlie was still whimpering and now limping on one of his back legs.

Once I got past the immediate shock and crying, I called all over DeLand, Lake Mary, and Orlando to different vets explaining the situation and lack of funds.

Many of the local vets were very helpful in pointing me towards the next vet they thought could help, but unfortunately, no one can really do anything without money.

One vet I reached provided me with a long list of organizations that can help with funding, but they are grant funds.

When you apply for any kind of grant funding, you have to provide a lot of documentation and evidence to get approved.

Due to limited funds on their part, as well as high demands from other pet owners, funding is also not guaranteed.

I also applied for Care Credit and was denied.

My only option is to jump through the required hoops for the grant funding and provide the documents needed to try and get approved.

Many of them require that you are also crowdfunding to help offset costs, so that's what I'm doing here.

If you know me at all, you know I hate asking for help or handouts, but I can't leave Charlie in this state.

He needs emergency care and I simply can't afford it right now.

If anyone is willing to help out, it would be greatly appreciated.
