Help Cahit in zijn strijd tegen kanker

Lieve vrienden, familie en betrokkenen,

Onze dierbare vriend Cahit staat midden in het leven. Hij is vader, vriend, acteur en leraar – een warm, wijs en gevoelig mens die altijd klaarstaat voor anderen. In de klas, op het podium of aan de keukentafel: Cahit raakt mensen. Met zijn woorden, zijn blik, zijn humor, zijn hart.

Een paar maanden geleden veranderde zijn leven volledig. De diagnose: kanker. Sindsdien heeft hij een intens en zwaar regulier behandeltraject doorgemaakt. Ziekenhuisopnames, lichamelijke achteruitgang – alles met moed en wilskracht. Maar het heeft veel van hem gevraagd. Zowel fysiek als mentaal.

Daarom kiest hij nu in overleg met zijn artsen en geliefden voor een alternatieve behandeling als aanvulling op het medische traject. Niet als ‘laatste redmiddel’, maar als kans. Als manier om zijn lichaam en geest te ondersteunen op een manier die bij hém past. Deze behandeling geeft hoop, verlichting en perspectief.

Waarom we jouw hulp vragen

De alternatieve zorg die Cahit volgt wordt niet vergoed. De kosten voor behandelingen, begeleiding, supplementen, aangepaste voeding en reizen lopen snel op. Financieel is dit simpelweg te zwaar om alleen te dragen.

Naast zijn reguliere medische traject kiest Cahit – in overleg met artsen en dierbaren – voor een aanvullende, alternatieve behandeling. Deze richt zich op het versterken van zijn immuunsysteem, het ondersteunen van zijn herstel en het verbeteren van zijn algehele conditie.

Het gaat hierbij om:

• Intensieve begeleiding van artsen en therapeuten gespecialiseerd in aanvullende zorg

• Gebruik van plantaardige en natuurlijke middelen

• Voedingsondersteuning en lichaamsgerichte therapieën

• Behandelingen in het buitenland, waaronder Turkije en Kirgizië

Deze vorm van zorg wordt op persoonlijke basis afgestemd, en wordt in Nederland niet vergoed. De kosten bestaan uit medische begeleiding, middelen, voeding en reis- en verblijfskosten.

Cahit ervaart hier rust, richting en nieuwe energie door – en dat is op dit moment van onschatbare waarde.

Our dear friend Cahit is in the prime of his life. He is a father, friend, actor, and teacher – a warm, wise, and sensitive soul who has always been there for others. Whether in the classroom, on stage, or around the kitchen table, Cahit touches people with his words, his gaze, his humor, and his heart.

A few months ago, his life changed completely. The diagnosis: cancer. Since then, he has undergone an intensive and exhausting conventional treatment process – including hospital stays and physical decline – all faced with courage and determination. But it has taken a heavy toll on him, both physically and mentally.

That’s why, in consultation with his doctors and loved ones, Cahit has now chosen to begin an alternative treatment, as a complement to his medical care. Not as a “last resort,” but as an opportunity. A path that supports his body and spirit in a way that aligns with who he is. This treatment brings hope, relief, and a sense of direction.

The alternative care Cahit is receiving is not covered by insurance. The costs of treatment, therapy, supplements, tailored nutrition, and travel are mounting quickly. Financially, it’s too much to carry alone.

Alongside his regular medical treatment, Cahit – in consultation with doctors and loved ones – has chosen to follow an additional, alternative approach. This treatment focuses on strengthening his immune system, supporting his recovery, and improving his overall condition.

It involves:

• Nutritional support and body-focused therapies

• Treatments abroad, including in Turkey and Kyrgyzstan

This form of care is tailored to his personal needs and is not covered by Dutch healthcare. The costs include medical guidance, treatment materials, nutrition, and travel and accommodation expenses.
