My name is Eugene, and this project means a lot to me. In the village of Chawolo, Uganda, my parents work with Child’s Destiny of Hope, an organization that has shaped so many young lives. When I visited recently to run an EO Fitness camp, I was reminded again how much raw talent lives there. These kids are fast, strong, disciplined and full of heart, yet they train on a tiny 200 meter grass track filled with holes and a short 100 meter straight that is far from safe. It is all they have, and they make the most of it, but they deserve better.
Seeing them run, seeing their excitement, their effort and their belief, moved me more than I expected. A real 400 meter grass track would change their entire world. It would give them a safe place to train, a place where they can grow, build confidence and dream without limits. It would give them access to opportunities that can truly transform a life, whether through sport, schooling, or simply the doors that open when you’re given a chance.
Many of these children come from very challenging circumstances, yet they show up with joy and hope every single day. A proper track may sound small, but for them it would mean everything. It would be a place where potential can flourish, where future champions can take their first steps and where the community can gather around something positive and inspiring.
Our goal is to raise 5,000 euro to build this 400 meter track for the children of Chawolo. Every contribution brings us closer to giving them a field worthy of their talent and spirit. This is about more than sport; it is about creating opportunity, safety, and belief.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for supporting something that has the power to truly change lives. Even the smallest donation brings us closer to giving these kids the chance they deserve.
