I have been struggling with endometriosis for quite some time, and it has made my dream of starting a family feel out of reach. I am married to my husband of 10 years, and I work as a registered nurse. Since June 2025, I have undergone multiple tests, including a hysteroscopy, and faced many setbacks along the way. After seeking a second opinion, I finally found a doctor who listens to me and is considered one of the best in the area. However, the journey has not been easy, especially when it comes to the financial side of things.

My insurance does not cover the facility fees where my surgeon performs surgery, and the co-pays are extremely high. In addition to the surgery itself, there are costs for anesthesia and other out-of-pocket hospital expenses. All funds raised will go directly toward these medical costs, helping me access the care I need to move forward with surgery and, hopefully, start a family.

Asking for help is not something that comes naturally to me. I have always tried to handle everything on my own, but I am learning that it's okay to reach out and accept support from others.
