My father is the head of our family and the person we all rely on. Recently, he was illegally detained by ICE, and our lives have been turned upside down. He takes care of all our bills and supports not just his children, but also his grandchildren. With no family in Mexico, and after losing his mother last year, his absence has left us struggling both emotionally and financially. Every day without him is a challenge, and we are doing our best to stay strong for each other.
