Help Bring Our Dad Home
On what started as a normal day, our dad was pulled over in Wyoming for a cracked windshield. During the traffic stop, he was taken into ICE custody and was transferred to an ICE detention facility in Colorado. This has been devastating for our family. Our dad has lived in the United States for over 30 years. He has no criminal history, has always worked hard to provide for our family, and is a loving father, grandfather, son, and brother. For more than 15 years, he has also been a devoted member of the Catholic community in Rock Springs, Wyoming. He has built lasting friendships, supported his church community, and has always tried to live a life centered on faith, family, and hard work.
For the past two years, he has been following the legal immigration process. His petition, filed by his U.S. citizen son, has already been approved, and his case has been moving through the immigration system. We are now working to hire an experienced immigration attorney and prepare for any immigration bond or legal expenses that may arise. We are asking for your help during this incredibly difficult time. Every donation, no matter the amount, will go toward:
* Immigration attorney fees
* Any ICE bond that may be set
* Travel and other necessary expenses related to his immigration case
If you are unable to donate, we completely understand. Sharing this fundraiser with others and keeping our family in your prayers would mean the world to us. Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support during this difficult time. We are holding onto hope and praying that our dad can come home to us soon.
With gratitude,
The Quezada Family
