Help Bring Bailie Home After Tragedy

My granddaughter Bailie is only 23, and her life changed forever after she lost her left arm and both legs due to complications from addiction. Watching her lose her mobility, hope, and everything she owned has been devastating for our family. Bailie spent months in the hospital and a rehabilitation center, and she is currently still in a nursing home, fighting through unimaginable pain and setbacks, including ongoing infections and the emotional toll of being away from home. Despite the odds, she has shown incredible strength and determination to survive.

Bailie cannot leave the nursing home until her mom can secure a safe, accessible place for her to live. Our goal is to help her mom purchase a home that meets Bailie’s needs—wide hallways, a large bathroom, and space for a mobile wheelchair and lift. These modifications are essential for Bailie’s comfort and safety, and will allow her to regain some independence. Her mom, who is small in stature, will also need equipment like a mobile lift to help care for Bailie at home.
