We are reaching out to our friends, family, and kind-hearted community during what has been a sudden and terrifying time. We are not ones to typically ask for donations, but we are facing an extremely expensive veterinary bill to save our dog's life—the heart of our household, Brady. Brady is a healthy, loving Goldendoodle, about to turn 11. He is the best big brother to his Goldendoodle sibling, Teddy, and his two human brothers, Luca and Nico. As many of you know, Brady has an incredible personality and loves nothing more than running his famous backyard sprints, chasing after the mailman and UPS drivers.

This past Thursday night, in a freak accident in our backyard, Brady tragically ran into a fire poker, which pierced his abdomen. We rushed him to the animal hospital, where we were advised that immediate surgery was necessary to save his life. We acted quickly, and after a 3.5-hour surgery, Brady was stabilized. Thankfully, major arteries were missed, but his intestine and bladder were impacted. The vet believes the surgery to repair the damage was successful! Brady has been making steady improvements every day and is already walking and standing on his own. While he has progressed each day, we are not out of the woods yet as he still has a long journey ahead of him. We are hoping he can come back home to his family in the next couple of days.
