Help Bobby Hickman Beat Cancer
Donazione protetta
Bobby Hickman was diagnosed with Rectal cancer in early June of 2021. He received this life changing and terrifying news after learning that his brother, Mike, who was at the time battling stage 4 rectal cancer, was losing his battle. Unfortunately, both brothers learned they were carriers of a cancer causing gene known as Lynch Syndrome.
Bobby quietly began treatments in early August 2021. He underwent 16 weeks of chemotherapy and 30 rounds of intense radiation. Sadly, during this time, he dealt with the passing of his brother, who lost his battle in October 2021. This was a very devastating time for Bobby and his family. Not only dealing with the grief, but also facing an uncertainty with his own prognosis. Recently, he underwent a major resection surgery and still faces more surgery ahead.
Through all of this, Bobby has been unable to work. He is a proud member of IUOE Local 324 and operator at Allingham Corporation for over 23 years. The medical expenses and cost of treatment are mounting. As you can imagine, the unknowns of dealing with a cancer diagnosis are stressful enough without the added financial pressure from multiple doctor visits, hospital stays, and missed time from work.
Bobby is a fighter and intends to beat this diagnosis. He still has a long road ahead of him. We humbly ask for your support during this difficult time to help ease the financial burden he has faced. If a financial contribution isn’t possible, we urge you to share this campaign on social media to help spread the word. We know Bobby would be grateful for your words of encouragement, prayers, and support. Every contribution - regardless of the amount - is a blessing. Thank you for considering a donation to help Bobby Hickman beat cancer!
