As some of you may have heard, our friend Ben recently sustained a brain injury and could really use some help while he recovers.

On the morning of Saturday February 7th Ben lost consciousness and hit his head quite badly. He sustained a concussion and developed a Subdural Hematoma (a bleed in his brain). He's now out of the hospital and being monitored.

As a result of his injury, he is required to give up over six weeks of work while he recovers.

Ben is usually a very independent and self reliant person, but as an independent contractor this loss of work is a significant financial blow.

If you don't know Ben, here are few words about him from his fiancee Tori Ben is deeply loved by everyone who knows him, and for good reason. He is endlessly selfless and always puts the people he loves first. Even when his career takes him overseas, he never lets distance stop him from showing up. He makes sure his friends and family always feel cared for and on his mind.

When he is home, he is fully present. He takes care of everyone around him, especially his fiancée, because he wants the people he loves to feel supported and at ease.

He is shy but somehow fills every room with laughter. His dry British humour and infectious laugh make people feel instantly comfortable. Ben has a rare way of making others feel accepted, valued, and truly seen.

His fiancée asks herself every day “how I got so lucky to find not only a partner who loves me so deeply, but my very best friend and soulmate all in one!”
