Sugarbear is Ben’s beloved service dog. Ben Callan is an Army vet (Army infantry 3rd Infantry Division) who has suffered with long term PTSD, a cracked L2 vertebrae, & chronic Lyme disease. The VA has had him on countless medications, but with Sugarbear as his service dog as of the last 8 years, has gotten himself off of everything except his blood pressure meds. These two are absolutely inseparable and Sugarbear has literally saved Ben’s life on multiple occasions. Ben has said it is often a daily struggle “to stay out of the daily 22”.
Sugarbear has degenerative arthritis in her hips that is eating her muscle and causing her a lot of pain. She has just had her first hip replacement last week on July 13th (total cost is $9,000) and we are short a few thousand dollars. She will then have to have the second hip done in 3 months.
Please help this sweet girl and Ben! Every donation helps, no matter the amount. Please share with others!
