"Hi everyone! My name is Jad. I just celebrated my 3rd birthday on Christmas Day! I had a Cake and everything! My mommy even told me that I’m going to be a Big brother soon and i’m so excited to have a sister.

A few months ago, my mom began to worry about me, a gut feeling she couldn’t shake, She could see that my face way a little yellow and thought I needed to take more vitamins, little did we know what was to come next. My mommy took me to the Doctor and found some of my blood results to be abnormal, I could see mommy and daddy were starting to get worried, the doctors were whispering things to mommy and daddy that it might be lukemia, and they reassured them that childrens lukemia was very curable and had a High survival rate. The doctors did some more tests and the very shocking news came out that it was actually stage 4 Neuroblastoma, a rare Cancer disease. I could see my mommy was so scared, because she had Lost her mom to cancer 5 years ago and she way afraid to lose me too"…

Jad is a Beautiful, vibrant toddler full of Life! He loves to play legos and his favorite super Hero is Spider-Man

In the beginning of 2023 we were given devastating news that Jad has stage 4 neuroblastoma, a rare, agressive, and High risk children cancer, a Solid tumor that targets nerve cells and spread into multiple locations across the body and into the bone marrow, the doctors told us that High Risk Neuroblastoma is a hard to beat cancer, and the treatment is also so exhaustive which requires many cycles of chemotherapy, bone marrow harvesting followed by many cycles of intensive chemotherapy, radiotherapy, a critical surgery, and then a bone marrow transplantation. After enduring all this survavial rates are still considerably Low with High chances of disease relapse.

After a thorough research driven by Hope, we found out About a breakthrough immunotherapy treatment called anti-GD2 antibodies which gives hope for Neuroblastoma patients, this treatment increases survival rate considerably and reduces chances of relapse, also this immunotherapy cuts short many of conventional Neuroblastoma treatment stages as there will be no need for patients to go through intensive chemo and bone marrow transplantation sparing them lots of toxicity, unfortunately this treatement is only available in few places around the world and comes with extremely High Costs.

We heard about SJD hospital, a pioneering center in Barcelona specializes in children cancer treatment where they have an extensive experience in Neuroblastoma treatment and one of the few places in the world that administers anti GD2 antibodies.

We contacted SJD hospital and for the first time in a while we found a ray of hope that our Son had a chance to get through this, we were also even more excited to find out that Jad is a very good candidiate for the treatment.

Help #Jad’sJourney to Health by Donating Today.
