Help Ayla Provide End of Life Care for Jasmine

I am starting this gofundme on behalf of my daughter Ayla to help her with the cost of paying for medical care for her beloved kitty Jasmine. Jasmine was our very first foster almost 13 years ago and her and Ayla bonded instantly. Jasmine is the matriarch of our household and she is a huge part of our family. We recently found out that Jasmine has squamous cell carcinoma of the jaw which is an incredibly aggressive and lethal cancer. We took her to the vet when we noticed a lump on her jaw and she had one abcessed tooth removed and a biopsy taken. Unfortunately, the biopsy came back positive for cancer. Jasmine has just a short time left with us as this cancer is moving quickly. She already has some bone loss and deformity of her jaw and she is seemingly in more and more pain. It is our goal to take her to an oncologist for a second opinion but really just to know what we’re dealing with and what the next steps are. Sadly, there is no treatment that can save her life which has left our entire family shattered. It will ultimately mean we need to set up end of life care for her and we would love to be able to have her pass gently and peacefully in our arms at home. At home euthanasia costs more than at a vet but she has given us so much love for 12 years and deserves the dignity to pass in the comfort of her home surrounded by her favorite things. The vet bill will be more than Ayla (and us) can afford. Ayla has already spent almost every dime of her savings and the rest of the family is pitching in what we can. We are asking for help so that we can give Jasmine the best care that she deserves ❤️
