Help the Noires with their medical bills!

Hi there, we are the Noire family. We consist of two sisters (Autumn and Audrey) and a lionhead bunny (Halo). Autumn and Halo have had some difficult health problems recently and we desperately need help getting on top of the subsequent medical bills.

Halo suffered from a liver lobe torsion. She was first admitted to our local vet here in Wichita, and then had to be referred to Kansas State University's emergency clinic to get surgery. Part of her liver was removed and has been sent off for testing. She is now at home recovering. She still has a long journey ahead of her until she is in the clear, and the vet bills have been enormous thus far.

Autumn has a rare and debilitating disability in her left leg called complex regional pain syndrome. It's at stage 3, which is the final stage and is permanent. She has had to get several procedures in an attempt to bring her constant excruciating pain level down to something she can live with while maintaining her ability to walk, but her insurance has not covered a single penny of any of it. She has covered all of it on her own up to this point, but was unexpectedly sent one last bill from an ablation, and she has reached the very end of her funds. She applied for financial assistance and was denied.

We have been doing our very best to handle all of these things ourselves, but we both work modest jobs. Audrey is a hair stylist working on commission, and Autumn is a live captionist working for $12 an hour. We simply cannot afford these bills on our own. We have been tremendously fortunate to have already received a lot of help from our absolutely wonderful friends, so we have deducted that amount from the total. But we still have a lot left over that we really, really need help with. As of right now, we need $3000 to cover the remainder. Halo still has a follow-up vet appointment in a week and a half, and we have no idea what that will cost. We will update this if necessary after that. But for now, this is where we are at.
