Help Asia & Kids Escape Abuse and Rebuild

Hi, my name is Asia McKenzie, and I’m a mother of five beautiful children—including a newborn daughter born just five weeks ago. I’m creating this GoFundMe to help us escape an abusive and dangerous situation, and to rebuild a safe, stable life for my children and myself. After 17 years in a relationship marked by emotional abuse, physical abuse, infidelity, and manipulation, my husband’s behavior has escalated into a full mental health crisis. He has publicly disowned our family, sent disturbing and erratic messages, and continues to create an environment that is unsafe for me and our children.

Right now, I am 5 weeks postpartum and physically unable to return to work. I am doing my best to keep my children cared for, emotionally supported, and safe—but I can’t do this next part alone. I am raising funds to help with emergency housing and relocation, legal fees for protection and custody, transportation and basic daily needs for five children, and postpartum care and mental health support. We are starting from scratch, and I’m asking for help to give my children the peace and safety they deserve.
