The Reality: Monday Morning Deadline

I will get straight to the point because we are out of time. My landlord has stated that if they do not receive $4,337 in full by this Monday morning, Dec 15th, they will move forward with legal eviction proceedings.

This isn't just a bill; it is the immediate threat of legal action that will lock us out of our home, and I will lose every possession I own in the process.

Why I am Asking (Again) for Your Support

I know many of you have rallied behind me before—in 2023 and earlier this year. The "feast or famine" nature of the freelance market in Phoenix has been almost entirely famine lately. Despite applying for every contract I can find, the financial stability I’m seeking hasn't landed yet.

I am not promising that this fixes everything forever. But, I am asking because I need the assistance and there’s no other option I can turn to.

The Heartbreak of Homelessness

For those who have followed my journey, you know I lost my beloved dog, Eddie, while we were homeless in 2023. He died without the comfort of a stable home. I carry that grief every day.

I still have Annie, my other senior dachshund, but at 18, she on her last leg. Annie needs dental surgery and antibiotics, or may be crossing over the rainbow bridge soon.

I cannot let Annie spend her final days in a car or all alone in an animal shelter. I am fighting to keep this roof over our heads so Annie can be safe, warm, and comfortable for whatever time she has left.

The Big Goal - $6,500:

This buys us time. It buys Annie comfort. It buys me the breathing room to keep hunting for work without the paralyzing fear of a lockout.
