Help Andrea and Rob With Meadow's Medical Care

Hi!

Our names are Kate and Kelli. We are very close friends to Andrea and her family and they are most definitely family to us.

Over the past few months, they have hit some very rough times. In August, Andrea's husband Rob had to undergo emergency back surgery when his ongoing injured back was just too painful to go on that he could not even walk. On two occasions, an ambulance had to be called to pick Rob up because of the extreme pain he was in. Now, the medical bills are coming in from those transports, a medical bed, and numerous medical appointments among other things.

In addition to that, one of Andrea and Rob's daughters Meadow is going through some medical complications of her own. Meadow has pain in her knee and her hip every single day. Meadow has also been experiencing constant low grade fevers and is suffering from fatigue and painful acid attacks. Andrea and Rob have been desperately trying to get to the root of what has been causing all of these symptoms. Meadow has undergone comprehensive tests; bloodwork, multiple X-rays and MRIs to no avail, so they are moving on to ultrasounds to see if they can find anything. They are open to seeking alternative/holistic treatments if necessary. The only thing actually confirmed from CHOP is that Meadow has a Patellar Sleeve Avulsion Fracture from when she fell on her knee several years ago. This injury apparently never healed and is so difficult to detect that all those years ago it never even showed up on the X-ray.

Rob has worked for the same company for over 20 years. He is a very hard worker and has been a consistent provider to his family while Andrea has been homeschooling their 3 girls, while taking care of them, their pets, and their home. All of the discomfort Meadow is experiencing is keeping her from being the vibrant and energetic 8 year old girl we all know and love. No child should have to live their life on pain relievers and other medicines. Andrea and Rob need your help in covering all of these bills. They are overwhelmed by the how much all of these medical tests and appointments are costing them, but there is no question that they need to find Meadow the relief she needs to grow, to feel safe, and to live a healthy life.
