Amy Has Faced Cancer and Loss, Now She Needs Us in the Fight Again
Around the same time Amy was facing her first battle with cancer, she also experienced a heartbreaking loss. She said goodbye to her beloved husband, Mark, after he passed from his own fight with cancer. Even in her grief, Amy remained strong for their three children and continued to trust that God would carry them through.
By His grace, her treatment worked, and she celebrated clear scans for years. She returned to life as a mother, an elementary school teacher, and a woman of deep faith, always giving glory to God for her healing.
But now, unexpectedly, the battle has begun again.
Amy is preparing for major surgery very soon, followed by a 5–7 day hospital stay and at least 6 weeks of recovery. Due to previous treatments, surgeries, and life emergencies, she has no paid time off remaining and will not receive income during her recovery. She will travel to Houston with her mom, which means lodging, meals, travel, and everyday expenses will add up quickly on top of her regular bills at home.
How You Can Support Amy
If you are unable to donate financially, your prayers are just as appreciated and needed. Please pray for a successful surgery, complete healing, peace over her spirit, comfort for her children and family, wisdom for her doctors, and strength through each step of recovery.
If you are able to give, any amount will help ease the financial burden of travel, lodging, meals, and lost income during her recovery.
Sharing her story helps reach more people who can lift her up with love and support.
Thank you for believing with us for healing, strength, and peace.
