Help AMS Students Explore Their Future
Donation protected
For years, I’ve organized an annual college tour for students at the Urban Assembly School for Applied Math & Science in the South Bronx—the school where I began my teaching career. This trip has always been more than just campus visits; it’s an opportunity for students to see what’s possible, explore new cities, and envision a future beyond their neighborhood.
Due to extreme budget cuts, our usual 3-night, multi-city experience has been reduced to just 2 days and 1 night in Boston, Mass. But I refuse to let financial limitations diminish the impact of this experience! I am committed to making this year’s trip just as inspiring, educational, and memorable as ever.
To do that, I need your help. I’m reaching out to the AMS alumni community, friends, family, and my professional network to raise the extra funds needed to cover meals, activities, and other miscellaneous costs that will make this trip truly meaningful. Lodging and transportation are covered—every dollar raised will go directly toward ensuring the best possible experience for our students.
Please consider donating and sharing this fundraiser—together, we can give these students a glimpse of the future they deserve. Thank you for your support!
