My name is Kayla, and I'm the daughter of Grace Sacco.

If you know my mom, Grace, then you probably know these three things:

• She is selfless
• She is hardworking
• She is loving

Grace is a mother, cat-momma, sister, daughter, and friend to all. My mom has spent her entire life taking care of others. She will drop everything to give you a ride to the airport in a blizzard, cook an extravagant dinner just because your sister's friend's cousin is in town, surprise you if you are ill with supplies to heal, and watch your child as if it's her own. My mom wants nothing but to help people and see them do their best, regardless of who you are or how well she knows you.

Now, Grace needs help, and I hope that the incredible community of people she has will support her.

Grace was recently diagnosed with Stage Two Breast Cancer. This news has been incredibly difficult for our family, and especially my mom, in her new role of the one being taken care of. In the upcoming months and next year, she will undergo a  mastectomy (possibly double), radiation, potential hormone replacement therapy, and eventually reconstruction. In addition, she will need time to rest and heal at home before returning back to work and her regular life.

While we are still learning more details about Grace's condition and treatment plan, I know that the process won't be easy. I hope that this fundraiser will help relieve the stress of her medical bills, support a future reconstruction, and allow her to have well-deserved time to heal and fully recover.
