Hi friends, family, and kind strangers,

I'm reaching out on behalf of my beautiful friend Amanda Gordon, a courageous mom of two, who recently underwent a preventative double mastectomy to protect her life after losing her mother to breast cancer. She made the brave decision to have this surgery after discovering she was at high genetic risk.

Amanda is now in recovery from her second major procedure, a reconstructive surgery using tissue from her own body, and it’s been incredibly difficult. She's in significant pain, unable to work, and trying to juggle healing while still being a mother. One of her children is autistic and requires special care, including daily transportation to therapy and daycare, while her partner works full time to support the household.

On top of all this, Amanda has one more surgery ahead in the coming months, and recovery will take time. Between medical expenses, childcare costs, daily bills, and the simple need for rest, this journey has put a huge financial strain on her family.

We’re asking for your help, if it’s $5, $50, or just a share. Every little bit helps Amanda focus on healing instead of worrying about money.
