Help Amanda fight Moyamoya disease

Hello, my name is Melina, and this is my best friend Amanda.

Amanda was misdiagnosed with MS about a year ago. This year on Christmas she suffered a stroke which would put her whole life on hold. Through extensive testing it turns out she actually has a very rare condition called MOYAMOYA DISEASE. Although she is slowly recovering she is still in need of brain surgery in order to live a normal life again.

Before this horrible condition took over my best friend she was a lively, witty fun loving person. With treatment and surgery we can get her back but we need your help. She was supposed to be getting married on February and unfortunately this will have to wait until Amanda gets her surgery and goes into recovery. She is one of the most important people in my life and I just want to do anything and everything I can possibly do to help her put this behind her. With the high costs of treatment and rehabilitation, as well as reoccurring living costs while being hospitalized anything helps. Please help her family and I make sure Amanda gets the help she needs. Anything helps. Thank you.
