Help Alyssa Start Fresh in California

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

My name is Kimmi, and I’m reaching out to you with love and hope in my heart. My daughter Alyssa — a first-generation college student from a small fishing village in Alaska — has worked incredibly hard to get where she is today. She was accepted into a university in California, where she’s chasing her dream of higher education and a better future.

Alyssa has always been determined and resourceful. She earned scholarships, saved every penny she could, and made the brave decision to invest her entire life savings into paying for her tuition. But despite all her hard work, there just wasn’t enough to cover everything. While her tuition is now paid, she doesn’t have the funds to move, rent an apartment, or cover basic living expenses as she searches for a job in a brand-new city.

We’re asking for your help — not for luxury or comfort — but simply to help Alyssa land on her feet. She needs funds for:

• A safe apartment near campus

• Basic furnishings and household essentials

• Groceries and transportation
