Help Aly Care for her Mom

Bonnie, Aly’s mother, is approaching the end of a long battle with cancer. An only child, Aly (Alycia) has no one to share this sacred and difficult role. This role has also placed her significantly in debt.

After receiving the bad news, Aly left her life in Georgia, to be with her mother. She soon realized Bonnie required much more care than she was receiving, and began pursuing certification as a full-time caregiver. Unfortunately, Bonnie’s condition worsened, and is now in hospice.

Like her daughter, Bonnie is a woman of impressive wit and character, but now struggles with confusion, leaving Aly to deal with her doctors and manage her affairs. This has become a full-time job.

Bonnie’s friends and community have been a blessing, providing physical assistance, helping with Goodwill donations, rides, and emotional support. However, over months, Aly has fallen far in debt with no income, with more expenses looming in the future.

Donations will help Aly recover financially, allow her to focus on the important work, and where possible, improve Bonnie’s final days.
