Help All Children Gain Freedom to Mobility

We are Magical Motors, a nonprofit organization with the mission of providing low-cost, assistive mobility vehicles to children with developmental disabilities. This allows for them to take control of their movement and enhance their social and motor skills.

More than 17% of children in the US have a developmental disability, and from that number, nearly 500,000 suffer some kind of mobility issue from birth. There are also 0 electric wheelchairs available for children under the age of 2. And even if they were available, Pediatric power wheelchairs cost upwards of $25,000 and take up to 5 years to receive.

We attempt to fill this gap by modifying children's toys to function as assistive mobility vehicles which can lead to cognitive, social, motor, language and other developmental benefits in young children from ages 3-8. This is a low cost alternative which only costs a few hundred dollars.
