I just wanted to give a big shout out to all those who have taken the time to help my grand children and to update you all to the fact that Alisha has not been able to work at all for the past 6 days as her youngest has been sick and no one wants to watch a sick baby so she has been having to take time off of work so she has not been making any money for the past week. So please if you are able to help out at all we would be so greatful. It is very hard to raise kids now a days and even more so when you have no one for a back up so you can still work and make money. And even worse when the absent parent doesn't help out at all.
Hi my name is Kim. I am a the grandmother to these 2 adorable girls, and they are the reason I am reaching out for any help at all.
A few months ago, my daughter's husband separated from her and moved 1500 miles away, leaving her with their two young daughters. My daughter is not currently receiving any financial support from him, and is trying so hard to keep things going forward. She has received food assistance from the state, however she does not make enough to pay for the rent each month, had to scramble to find and pay for childcare when her husband left, and keeps falling further and further behind, financially. She works full time and delivers for Uber in her free time (what little time she has with 2 kids). Sometimes in life people just need a helping hand so that they can pick up the pieces of their life and move forward. I am so proud of how she is working to make a good life for herself and her girls after unexpectedly becoming a single mom.
