I've been contemplating this for a while now, but now I know I need your help.

Hello, my name is Darren, but everybody calls me Alex. I'm a 39-year-old father of four. I was born at Clark Air Force Base in the Philippines. Soon after my birth, my family moved back to the States, where I would call Pensacola, Florida, home. As I grew older, throughout my whole life, I have been told I am mixed with something. I was encouraged to take an Ancestry DNA test. Results confirmed I'm 52% Filipino. With the help of my niece and sisters, we were able to find my birth mother. Since then, we have been in consistent communication through Facebook Messenger and Facebook video calls. Our conversations are limited due to the language barrier between us. Now, I'm hoping I can get help making it back to the Philippines to meet the lady who birthed me. Thank you for taking your time out to read my story.
