My cousin Adam Abdul Razek is a resilient young man living in a refugee camp in Lebanon. Despite the daily challenges he faces, he has always met life with a sense of quiet determination — but recently, he has been dealt a heartbreaking blow. His hearing aids, which are essential for his ability to communicate and participate in daily life, have completely stopped working. Due to discontinued parts and outdated technology, they can no longer be repaired.
Adam has been prescribed a new external hearing processor: the MEDEL Rondo 3 with Audiolink, a medical device that will allow him to hear again. The total cost is $14,800, a price that is simply unattainable for Adam’s family under refugee conditions.
We are turning to the kindness and generosity of others to help raise the funds needed to give Adam his hearing back. We’ve included the official medical recommendation and price quotation in this campaign for full transparency.
Every donation brings Adam one step closer to rejoining the world of sound — to hear his family’s voices, to return to school, and to engage in the community around him with confidence and dignity.
Please consider donating or sharing this page with others. Your support means the world to Adam and to all of us who love him.
Thank you.
