Help a trans filmmaker escape Florida for LA!!

Hello! If you don't know me, my name is Mel and I'm a transgender filmmaker based in Orlando, Florida. I've been making short films for five years now, you can see my work here: https://vimeo.com/user183428978

I am currently getting my affairs in order so that I can move to Los Angeles, where I will have much better career prospects than in Orlando. I am also trying to escape Florida, a state where my very existence is seen as a threat. I have very few prospects for transition care (including HRT, surgery, or name/gender changes) in the state of Florida, and the window of opportunity is only shrinking in the wake of Donald Trump's reelection. For as long as I remain here, I will be forced to live a lie.

The $8,000 goal encompasses moving costs, rent, bills, car repairs, and other things that I will need to get on my feet in LA with a dependable safety net. I am currently looking for work in LA, but in the interim, I am looking to accrue some savings in the likely event that the job hunt runs cold for 3+ months. Anything at all that you can offer to support me at this time would be much appreciated, and I would be deeply grateful.
