Help a First-Gen Immigrant Achieve a College Dream

Hello, and thank you for visiting my page. My name is Eloah DeOliveira, and I’m reaching out with a hopeful heart and a humble request. I am a first-generation college student and an immigrant who dreams of making a difference through higher education, but I need your help to make that dream a reality.

About Me:

I was born in Brazil and moved to United States with my family in 2015 in search of better opportunities. My journey has not been easy, but it has instilled in me a deep appreciation for education and a determination to succeed. I am the first in my family to pursue higher education, and this milestone is both a personal achievement and a lot of hope for my family.

The Challenge:

Despite my passion and hard work, I am facing significant financial barriers. As an immigrant, I am ineligible for many forms of financial aid, and my family is unable to provide the support I need to cover the costs of college. This has created a tremendous financial strain, and I am struggling to bridge the gap between my dreams and my reality. I have applied for many scholarships and although it lowered my tuition cost, I still owe the school $16,000 per semester.

Your support will directly impact my ability to attend college and pursue my goals. The funds raised will go towards tuition, textbooks, and other essential expenses that will allow me to focus on my studies and succeed academically.

I plan to major in Criminal Justice at Western New England University in Springfield MA, and might switch into Law so I can be an immigration lawyer!!
