Myself and a couple of other giving people are trying to raise money for a family of five, along with their dogs, who are experiencing homelessness. They have found themselves living in their cars due to loss of jobs and escalating rent payments. They are applying for jobs and government help but have not had any luck as of yet. One family member has obtained a job but it’s not enough to help the family through this hard time.

We are trying to get them off the street and into an extended stay motel for a month to help them get on their feet while looking for jobs, get them out of the hot sun, a place to bathe, cook a meal and stay safe. My friend, Jamie, was able to get a dog groomer to groom the dogs by cutting their hair to keep them cooler. Two rooms will cost about $6,000 for the month. We are asking for your help because everyone needs some help in this world once in a while. NO AMOUNT IS TOO LITTLE!! We appreciate you all. Thank you for your consideration.

UPDATE: half of family and two fur babies have been checked into the extend a stay but we still need to get the other half of the family settled in and out of their car.
