A couple of weeks ago, Aiden, Demond’s 19-year-old little brother, was involved in a serious car accident that turned their family’s world upside down. He suffered brain swelling and a punctured lung, and the days since have been frightening and uncertain for everyone who loves him. Aiden was in the ICU and has now made it out, which the family is deeply thankful for, but his recovery is far from over. Depending on his progress, he may need rehabilitation after he leaves the hospital. Seeing someone so young go through something this serious has been heartbreaking for the whole family, and right now their focus is on helping Aiden heal and giving him the best chance at recovery.

Demond started this fundraiser to help ease some of the heavy financial pressure their family is facing during this crisis. The funds will go toward Aiden’s hospital bills, possible rehabilitation or other recovery care, and helping their mom maintain income while she stays by Aiden’s side at the hospital and is unable to work.
