Our nephew, 18-year-old Triinabh, is a bright, kind young man whose life has been turned upside down by leukemia. He is not just a son and student—he is also the world to his 9-year-old little brother, who calls him his hero.

In August 2022, Triinabh was diagnosed with B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). He bravely went through more than two years of chemotherapy, completing treatment in February 2025. We prayed the nightmare was behind us.

But just six months later, in September 2025, the leukemia came back. His bone marrow is now 90% filled with leukemia cells, leaving almost no room for healthy cells. His blood counts are dangerously low, and his doctors have confirmed a relapse of B-cell precursor ALL.

(Triinabh with his little brother — his best friend, his joy, and his reason to fight)

Now, the only way forward is a three-step treatment plan at Tata Medical Center, Kolkata:

Re-induction Chemotherapy – CAD $20,000
Targeted Therapy with Blinatumomab – CAD $150,000
Bone Marrow Transplant – CAD $75,000
Total estimated cost: CAD $250,000

Unfortunately, insurance will cover only about 20% of this amount. The rest must be paid out of pocket. His parents, Sudip Maiti and Oishi Maiti Das, are under tremendous financial strain. They are preparing to sell everything they own to save their child, but even that will not be enough.

Despite the pain and fear, Triinabh still dreams of going to university, building a future, and being there to guide his younger brother as he grows up. For his little brother, life without him is unimaginable.

This is why we are reaching out to you—with humility and hope.

❤️ From the depths of our hearts, thank you for standing with us in this fight. Together, we can give Triinabh the chance to live the long, healthy, and happy life he deserves.

A Note from Sudip & Oishi

We are Sudip Maiti and Oishi Maiti Das, parents of Triinabh. No words can describe the pain of watching our 18-year-old son fight for his life, or the helplessness we feel knowing the treatment he needs is beyond what we can afford alone.

Your kindness, generosity, and prayers mean more than we can ever express. Every donation, every share, every word of encouragement brings us closer to giving Triinabh the chance to live, to study, to laugh, and to grow alongside his little brother who adores him.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with our family in this fight. We will carry your love and support with us every step of the way.

— Sudip & Oishi
