On the night of Saturday 10/7, Heather was involved in a motorcycle accident on the 10-freeway just minutes from her home. The accident is still under investigation and Heather has been advised by legal counsel to not share any details of the accident publicly just yet.
All things considered, Heather is very lucky, but medical bills are going to be costly, even with insurance. Heather has also had to take time off of work for her recovery, and as a per diem employee she does not accrue any sick or vacation time. Any time off of work is unpaid leave.
