Meet Yogi!
Yogi is an 9-year-old Rottweiler mix with a huge heart and an even bigger love for life. He’s the kind of dog who lives for runs, swims, and chasing birds—always happy, always moving, always present.
Last year, Yogi tore his ACL. I invested in a $2,000 orthopedic brace while I tried to figure out the best long-term option for him. Unfortunately, his ACL is now fully torn, and due to his size and energetic nature, conservative management is no longer enough.
Yogi needs a TPLO surgery to regain stability and return to the life he loves. Since recently moving to Alberta to pursue College education, I simply don’t have the financial means to cover this on my own.
What breaks my heart most is the thought of Yogi spending his final years in pain—unable to run, swim, or enjoy the world the way he always has. He still has so much joy, energy, and love to give. With this surgery, he has a real chance to live out his remaining years comfortably, happily, and without constant pain.
I know how hard things are financially right now, and I truly mean this: please don’t donate if it would put you or your family under any strain. Your well-being comes first. But if you’re in a position to spare even a few dollars, your kindness could genuinely change Yogi’s life.
Thank you for taking the time to read Yogi’s story. Whether you donate, share, or simply keep him in your thoughts, it means more than I can express. I wish you and your loved ones all the best.
