My Oxford MBA

Hi everyone,

My name is Toyosi Ogedengbe and I have had the recent privilege of being admitted on the MBA Program at Oxford University, a very humbling achievement.

So, why do an MBA now?

Both my wife and I are of African descent and we understand the perils of inconsistent electricity within the continent. However, our children do not and that is not the Africa I want them to see.

Do you know that over 600M people in Africa have no access to electricity with 80% of these being in rural areas?

This has been the main driver for me to apply my skills to address this problem, so I developed a waste-to-energy power plant with some friends, selecting Uganda as our test location.

With its academic rigor, commitment to Africa and focus on social impact, the Oxford MBA will equip me with commercial knowledge and fundamental business skills to scale our current operations.
