My name is Wafaa, I am 22 years old and a medical student at Al-Azhar University in Gaza.
I have always dreamed of becoming a doctor to help people in need. I have two years left to complete my Bachelor's degree in Medicine.
Unfortunately, the war has turned my life upside down. While many universities in Gaza waived tuition fees for students during the war, my university did not provide any financial relief, leaving me with 5,000 Jordanian Dinars in unpaid tuition fees.
- These are the classes I studied and the amount of money for each class and the total university fees as shown in the last line 5300 Jordanian dinars
I currently live in the midst of conflict, facing daily hardship and constant instability. Tragically, education here has become almost impossible. Still, I remain determined to pursue higher education and build a better future—not just for myself, but for my community.
I have a rare and precious opportunity to continue my studies in France and fulfill my dream of becoming a doctor. But to make this dream a reality, I need your help.
The French Consulate requires proof of financial resources of €8,700 to cover living expenses such as housing, food, transportation, and other essentials. This is an enormous challenge for me, especially during these times of war and economic collapse.
Today, I turn to you—for your support and your humanity. Every donation, no matter the size, brings me closer to a future shaped by knowledge instead of conflict.
Please consider donating or sharing this campaign, and help me write a different story: one of resilience, education, and hope.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Wafaa
