This Go Fund Me is being created for my dear friend Kayla Hargraves and her family, who lost their home yesterday, January 8, 2025 in the Eaton Canyon Fires in Altadena, California. Kayla, her 90 year old grandpa, and her cats have safely evacuated but they have lost everything - even basic clothes and necessities and her grandfathers medical equipment (which is the most important) and will have to completely rebuild.

Kayla is currently pushing back on insurance regarding her home as they are not covering the fire but things don't look promising. She has been in communication with contractors and based off of the bare minimum of just costs and labor alone, rebuilding her home will be

$300,000. She will be applying for support through FEMA but has been told that the bare minimum can be provided due to the vast amount of needs across LA.

After losing his son (Kayla's dad) just last year, her grandpa and Kayla are utterly devastated by this loss. Please keep Kayla and her family in your prayers and share/donate anything you can to help her rebuild what they have lost. Their worlds have been turned upside down, anything helps to aid them in moving forward. Please keep her family and other neighboring communities affected by this tragedy in your thoughts and prayers.
