I am going to be a Bat Mitzvah in June, and for my community service project, I wanted to do something that can help other kids around the world. I am truly inspired by Alex's kindness and her story and I hope to one day, accomplish even half of what she did in her 8 years in this world. Kids affected by cancer are so incredibly brave and strong and I admire the courage they have, no matter how much younger they are than me. I am so so lucky to be healthy and have healthy family and friends. If you are in a place where you can donate even a little bit, it would help tremendously. Thank you so much for visiting, it really means so much to me.
Love,
Hanna
More information about Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation: Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation emerged from the front yard lemonade stand of cancer patient Alex Scott (1996-2004). In 2000, 4 year old Alex announced that she wanted to hold a lemonade stand to raise money to help find a cure for all children with cancer. Since Alex held that first stand, the Foundation bearing her name has evolved into a national fundraising movement. To date, ALSF has raised more than $150 million and funding over 800 pediatric cancer research projects across North America. Learn more at: https://www.alexslemonade.org/
