Support for the family of Hannah Leigh Grainge

Hi, my name is Nicole Pelican-Moody, and I am organizing a fundraiser for Hannah's family.

On the morning of July 26th, two days before her 32nd birthday, our dear Hannah was found passed away in her home. Hannah had been suffering from long-term side effects after having COVID months prior. While an autopsy was performed, the cause of death was not determined, and the coroner will be doing further analysis to hopefully try to give us all some peace and knowing. This may take months.

Hannah was an amazing woman, daughter, sister, girlfriend, and friend to all those fortunate to cross her path. She lit up a room with her smile and was the first to say yes to whatever it was you needed, whether it was riding shotgun on a road trip, throwing a surprise party for a friend, or lending you a hand or an ear just because you needed one. For me, personally, it was just six weeks ago that Hannah attended an out-of-area celebration of life for my aunt JUST because she knew how much my aunt meant to me. That's just the kind of friend Hannah was, the kind of PERSON Hannah was. She was good and kind and funny, and she was always there to help others. Now it is our opportunity to help her family and loved ones.

We humbly call upon our community to help ease the burden of medical and memorial expenses for Hannah's mother, Kathy, her brother, Justin, and her partner and love-of-her-life, Craig, who also now has increased living expenses (rent, utilities, etc.) that he once split with Hannah.

We know that times are hard for many, and if a financial contribution isn't possible for you right now, please know that your thoughts, cards, stories, and words of sympathy are just as valued.
