Support for the Eng family.

Hi, All. My dad’s body is officially on the decline & is in the process of completely shutting down. He’s in constant pain now. We have agreed to change his status with the hospital to a DNR. We will be making final arrangements at the hospital & to say goodbye.

* Update: 7:00 pm, Hospital called about an hour & half ago. They tried to do CTs on dad. But every time they put him down flat, his oxygen went low. He’s only doing 34 breaths a minute. So he’s declining rapidly. We are on the road now to the hospital.

: Dad has basically been in the ICU since the end of September. He initially had surgery for an aortic aneurysm, aortic valve repair, & bypass. Unfortunately, since then things have spiraled down from there for him. He’s had multiple procedures, scheduled surgeries, emergency surgeries, transfusions, etc. Sadly, things never really improved for him.

Hello, I am a friend of Tiffany Eng and she will be receiving funds raised here to support the Eng family during these difficult times.

Since September 2023, Hank Eng has been hospitalized at USC in Los Angeles, CA. Hank Eng has two daughters Tiffany and Jine. The purpose of this fundraiser is to help Tiffany and Jine through this very difficult time. Tiffany has been unable to work due to having to drive back and forth between Los Angeles and Paso Robles, CA where she lives and monitor her fathers situation and being the main decision maker in regards to her fathers medical options. Her sister Jine lives in Louisiana but has been staying with Tiffany in Paso Robles, CA during this tough time. They have both had to make multiple trips to Los Angeles to visit Hank at USC.

Any funds raised here will be used by the Eng family to help with medical costs and moving costs if Tiffany has to move to Louisiana to live with her sister. I know the Eng family will appreciate any monetary or even emotional support anyone can offer. In addition if anyone has any resources or contacts related to bereavement or finding housing for people who are struggling please send the information. Sometimes it is easy to feel alone in this world and I want the Eng family to know they are not alone, we just have to be brave enough to ask for help sometimes. P.S. this was entirely my idea though, not the Eng family, but I did get permission from Tiffany Eng that this would be ok. Thank you to anyone who reads this.
