I've been having one heck of a time with my health the last few years - I'm sure many of you have seen me posting about my chronic pain online - which is still undiagnosed even though I've been fighting with doctors for answers for about 5+ years and living with mysterious pain for 12+ years.

Whatever is going on is getting progressively worse as I age; having more symptoms and issues constantly. I've decided to move forward with trying Naturopathic medicine as I am at my wits end of what to do. Unfortunately, this is not covered and is very expensive.

Additionally, I am hoping to also see a dietician to address symptoms I am experiencing due to diet - which is also not covered and very expensive.

In terms of my mental health I am currently seeing a therapist bi-weekly which my parents do cover the cost of - but I would like to give them a break if I can; both of my parents are dealing with various health issues in the last few years and are also very financially strained right now.

Lastly, I have been trying to save up money the last 3 years for a night guard for sleeping as I grind my teeth in my sleep but unfortunately none of my workplaces nor my student insurance covers this.

On top of all these health expenses - I am back in school and only able to work 3 shifts a week at the moment and to be completely candid trying to pay rent has become incredibly stressful. I have had to rely heavily on friends and my partner as of late to help me pay for food and medicine. The tattoo I got recently was an early birthday gift from my mom otherwise I would not have been able to afford it.

Cost Breakdown:

3 visits to Naturopathic Doctor = 470$

1 visit to Dietician = 260$

6 months of Therapy coverage (160$ a month) = 960$

Night Guard (Dental) = $500

1 month of rent = 595$

Total = 2785$

excess funds would be spent on food

Anything to help me access these services or relieve financial strain is appreciated and will hopefully lead to me being able to receive some form of diagnosis or treatment plan.
