Hailee's Ghana Trip 2017
Donation protected
Hello friends and family!
As many of you know, last year I had the wonderful opportunity to go to Ghana with Think Kindness and volunteer at an orphanage. It was, and still is, the best experience of my life. I fell in love with the culture and the amazing, kindhearted people that I met. I still think about them everyday and how much they changed my life.
That's why when I got the news that I would be able to return, I was ecstatic. I'm hoping to be able to return to the same village and orphanage that I stayed at last time. I'm so grateful to Francis for welcoming us into the orphanage again, and for offering me a chance to volunteer firsthand in the clinic with the village's midwife. Last trip, I spent a lot of time helping care for the children that got hurt and learning the different medicine practices they have. To be able to volunteer and help out in the clinic would mean the world to me.
We are planning to leave Reno on December 26th and return to the states on January 6th. It would mean so much to me and I would be so grateful if any of you would be willing to open your heart and help me get to Ghana again. No matter the size of the donation, it will be a huge help and I greatly appreciate it. This may be the last chance I have to return to Ghana for a few years since college will be hectic with the BSMD program at UNR, and I want to make it count.
Thank you so much!
