Help Chris with Medical expenses

Donation protected
My Dad, Christopher Dwyer went into the Hospital on December 14th, 2020 & had to have a Quadruple Bypass surgery on December 18th. For those of you who do not know he was in a medically induced coma for two weeks following the surgery. He had to be placed on an ECMO machine that was helping his heart & lungs do the work for him because they were weak from the Surgery.  Unfortunately, my Dad's Kidney's took a hit due to the seriousness of the heart surgery, so he is currently getting Dialysis every other day. The nurses say it could be months before they will know if he will gain Kidney function back. The good news is that he did not have Kidney issues prior to his Bypass and the Kidneys are resilient so we are hoping they will start functioning again and the Dialysis will only be temporary. This will not keep Dad in the hospital but if his Kidneys are not functioning by the time of discharge, they said he will have to go to outpatient Dialysis 3 times a week. My dad did have trach after the breathing tube came out but thankfully that was temporary and did come out on January 25th. The speech therapists are still working with my Dad on swallowing, but he is doing well. He did move off the ICU floor on January 28th, 2021 and on to the heart floor which is great news. He has been walking a couple times a day with the walker for about a couple weeks now. He is making steps in the right direction, but we are aware this will be a long road to recovery.  The feeding tube came out February 5th, 2021. We are unsure of how  much longer Dad will be in the hospital at this point, but we do know he will need extensive therapy even after he is discharged. This has been a very difficult time for my family especially not being able to be by my Dad's side in person to help him through this. We understand that times have been extremely difficult for everyone this past year with the pandemic but if you are able to, we are asking for donations to help my parents pay for these Medical expenses for my Dad as it will be much more than insurance will cover. He is the most loving, generous, outgoing guy & we just want him to get healthy so we can bring him home! He has gone through so much these past two months and he has not stopped fighting one bit! We hope to see him playing with his two beautiful grandchildren in the near future! Please help us reach our goal to help my parents with Medical expenses. Thank you in advance for your support & even if you cannot afford to donate, please share our story!
