Help Us Honor the Life of Lorenzo “Lencho” Salazar

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Lorenzo “Lencho” Salazar, who left us on April 19th, 2025, after a courageous 5+ year battle with cancer. Lorenzo was born on November 28th, 1971, in Guachinango, Jalisco, Mexico, to Liborio Salazar and Esperanza Hermina Agurrie. He leaves behind his loving wife, Teresa Salazar Palomera, his cherished children, Osbaldo and Janet Salazar, and grandchild Osbaldo Salazar Jr.

Lorenzo was a respectful, vibrant soul who loved life and brought warmth wherever he went. He was the kind of person who made every room shine, including and uplifting everyone around him. He found joy in family gatherings, parties, hunting, trucks, and outdoor activities — always living in the moment and encouraging others to do the same.

Though we were blessed to have him in our lives, his journey with cancer was long and difficult. As we navigate this painful loss, we are reaching out to our extended community for support. We are raising funds to assist the Salazar Palomera family with funeral and burial expenses, to ensure that Lorenzo is laid to rest with the dignity and love he so deeply deserves.

Ayúdanos a Honrar la Vida de Lorenzo “Lencho” Salazar

Con profundo dolor, compartimos la triste noticia del fallecimiento de nuestro querido Lorenzo “Lencho” Salazar, quien partió el 19 de abril del 2025 después de una valiente lucha contra el cáncer por más de cinco años. Lorenzo nació el 28 de Noviembre de 1971 en Guachinango, Jalisco, México, hijo de Liborio Salazar y Esperanza Hermina Agurrie. Deja atras su amada esposa Teresa Salazar Palomera y sus hijos Osbaldo y Janet Salazar y su nieto Osbaldo Salazar Jr.

Lorenzo fue un hombre respetuoso, alegre y lleno de vida. Siempre hacía brillar cualquier lugar con su presencia, integrando a todos a su alrededor con una sonrisa. Disfrutaba de las reuniones familiares, las fiestas, la cacería, las camionetas y las actividades al aire libre — vivía intensamente y con mucho amor por su familia y amigos.

Aunque su lucha contra el cáncer fue larga y difícil, Lorenzo nunca perdió su espíritu y su fe con Dios. Hoy, mientras enfrentamos esta pérdida tan grande, la familia Salazar Palomera pide con humildad el apoyo de la comunidad para poder cubrir los gastos funerarios y de sepelio, y así darle a Lorenzo el adiós digno que merece.
