Guerilla Love the Gerald Lavon Wright Jr. Fndn

Tre Ridah also known as Duff3X, born Gerald Lavon Wright Jr., passed on October 30, 2022. Gerald was an incredible father, son, brother, cousin, and friend who positively impacted those around him.

Gerald, an accomplished artist, dedicated his life to his family and community. He possessed a rare loyal nature and often went above and beyond to help those around him. When it came to family and friends, he always wanted the best for them which often included challenging his loved ones to become the greatest versions of themselves. Gerald believed in his community and sought to help build his community by providing guidance to his peers and the next generation.

As much as Gerald was about developing the community he equally had a deep understanding of self and God. At an early age, he developed distinct leadership skills and dared to be himself. Leading many of his peers to God, he was on a mission to spread love and compassion. As he grew older the harsh reality of life kicked in and he began to face some internal battles with depression and anxiety which he fought hard to overcome. While overcoming internal battles he was placed on prescription drugs to help deal with anxiety and depression caused by life. Unfortunately, like many others, he was unaware of the detrimental effects caused by prescription drugs.

In loving memory of Gerald Lavon Wright Jr, aka Tre Ridah and Duff3X, the Guerilla Love Foundation was created to bring awareness to the importance of mental health and the dangers of prescription drugs. Our foundation will create an inclusive safe space for the community that will help facilitate discussion and education about pharmaceutical drugs and how they relate to mental health. Gerald suffered from prescription drug abuse for years before he realized to confide in close family members and friends about his internal battles. Our mission is to ensure no one has to struggle in silence. The Guerilla Love Foundation will shed light on the reality of depression, anxiety, and threats of prescription drugs through educational workshops, peer mentoring, vent rooms, and many other resources that will help combat the mental and emotional effects.

We are seeking donations to support the building of the Guerilla Love Foundation, and the legacy of his four children.
