Gryphon Rowing is a unique team at the University of Guelph. We get up early every morning to train our hardest in an ongoing journey to the podium, and have created a close knit community built on shared experiences and mutual respect.
Rowing, however, requires expensive equipment in the form of boats, oars, rowing machines, and other pieces of training equipment. That's why we're trying to make a splash (pun intended) this year by launching the Gryphon Rowing 100km Ergathon.
Either in teams of two or alone, we will be setting rowing machines to 100 kilometres and pulling in the University Centre on March 16th, 2017. By setting an extreme challenge for ourselves, we hope to inspire not only our team, but to the show the world that we mean business.
